BELGRADE, Serbia, Jan. 10 - In our World, there are lots of countries, nations, languages, religions, cultures, costumes but also lots of disagreements. History has it that there was never peace and respect among nations since the formation of the first State. From the beginning of the first conflict till date, wars have been fought for the same cause: political differences, trade, religion, liberation, dynasty, seizure of territory, the annihilation of a rival State, the destruction of the enemy's ability to prosecute military action, revolution or genocide.

Elections Kenya 2007- A Deeper Reflection

NAIROBI, Jan. 5 - Almost all emails I have been receiving from all over the world are asking the one simple question: what is going on in Kenya? From the disappointment of those who have always viewed Kenya as a model democracy to predictions by many prestigious circles who had indicated that the elections were not going to have any impact on business and society in our country, the naysayers seem to be having a field day. I will attempt to give what I consider a meaningful picture of the issues and the likely turn that things are going to take.

The Kenyan liver has been protected!

GAHNA, Dec. 12 - One of the ruling elites in Kenya once equated political leadership with the action of juggling with a fresh liver. Whereas Kenyan voters were busy casting their vote, a few elites were busy juggling with the liver in their board rooms; delaying result-tallying and making otherwise efficient election officials to disappear for three days. The resultant effect of liver juggling as opposed to democratic results that each one of us was waiting for is now in the open for the World to behold.
